CURRA (H.R. 5519) pulled from Tuesday's House voting schedule
Last (Monday) night, CUNA informed us that HR 5519 (CURRA), the regulatory relief legislation for credit unions, will not be considered and has been pulled from the suspension calendar for today's vote. As you are aware, the suspension calendar is reserved for "non-controversial" bills and the House Leadership removed the bill from the calendar due to its controversial nature. CUNA is currently attempting to get the bill back on track for consideration on the regular calendar of business and we will keep you abreast of these developments.
Thanks for your immediate and overwhelming responses to our Legislative Action Alert.
