Welcome to the Southwest Chapter of Credit Unions

At a joint meeting of the Southwest and Joseph S. DeRamus chapters on April 20, 2009, the two chapter boards voted to merge and become the Southwest Chapter of Credit Unions.  This action was approved by the Illinois Credit Union League board on June 11, 2009, effective immediately.

Serving credit unions and credit union officials in the near west, south and southwest areas of the city of Chicago in that portion of Cook County bounded on the north by North Ave., on the east by Halsted St., on the south by Cermak Rd., and on the west by Pulaski Rd.; that portion of Cook County bounded on the north by Cermak Rd., on the east by Lake Michigan, on the south by 63rd St., and on west by Pulaski Rd.; and that portion of Cook County bounded on the north by North Ave., on the east by Pulaski Rd., on the south and west by the Cook County line, and excluding an area situated in the City of Country Club Hills bounded on the north by Soleri Dr., on the east by Pulaski Rd., on the south by Fairway Terrace, and on the west by Olympia Dr.
